What is a Rainbow Wrap?

For those who are unfamiliar, a rainbow wrap is a plant-based wrap full of colorful vegetables. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just want to get more vegetables in your diet–this wrap is easy to prepare for all your weekday lunches.

Now, let’s explore how to make a rainbow wrap.

How to Make a Rainbow Wrap in 4 Easy Steps

Step 1: First, pick a dressing, such as hummus, peanut sauce, or pesto.

Step 2: Then choose your vegetables in a variety of colors. Remember, we’re going for the rainbow here. While you may not be able to find a vegetable in every color of the rainbow (when was the last time you saw a blue vegetable?), a rainbow wrap should include as many colors as possible. Here are some ingredient options:

  • Purple cabbage
  • Corn
  • Bell peppers
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Beets
  • Spinach
  • Chickpeas
  • Carrots
  • Onion
  • Cucumbers

Once you’ve picked your favorites, slice them up into bite sized pieces.

Step 3: Next, find a colorful tortilla, such as a spinach or tomato basil tortilla.

Step 4: Lastly, divide the ingredients on the wrap, roll everything up, and enjoy!
